Human biospecimen collection

We collect high quality human biological specimens and follow up clinical data. We manage a wide range of sample categories, including fresh, frozen and fixed tissues, blood, serum, plasma, sputum and other bio fluids. We are experienced in tissue and fluid collection in different formats in order to meet our clients’ needs and requirements.

Each individual case is accompanied by detailed clinical information. We have experience in collecting specimens from most medical areas including Oncology, Autoimmune disorders, Cardiovascular diseases, Metabolic disorders, Central Nervous System diseases, Infectious diseases, Haematological malignancies, Respiratory diseases, etc.

We use a dedicated biospecimen inventory data base that provides us with an integrated samples, freezer and shipment management system. We operate a fully tracked and annotated human biospecimen shipment system.

Biospecimens are offered in several formats to meet research needs:

1. A tumor and matched adjacent normal tissue: mirrored Pair; matched samples with blood or its derivatives; fresh frozen (FF) tissue, formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FPPE) tissue samples
2. A full set of samples from the same patient: a matched pair of tissues with a set of biofluids (whole blood, serum/plasma, saliva etc.)
3. Blood Collection: blood fractions (plasma, serum, PBMCs, buffy coat)
4. Bucal Cell Collection
5. Sputum Collection
6. Saliva
7. Urine
8. Stool/Feces
9. Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF)
